1. What Hazmat Sheets is

Hazmat Sheets is a tool for preparing dangerous goods shipping documents — an internal packing/working sheet, the Multimodal Dangerous Goods Form, the IATA shipper's declaration, the US ground hazmat shipping paper (49 CFR) and the emergency response information sheet (ERI) — from the data you enter: your products, your customers and your company profiles.

2. What Hazmat Sheets is not

Hazmat Sheets does not classify dangerous goods, does not validate your data against the IMDG Code, 49 CFR, the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations or any other regulation, and does not replace the training or certification that the law requires for any person who prepares or signs a dangerous goods declaration. CTC Dev LLC provides tools only: it does not provide dangerous goods consulting, classification services, training or compliance advice of any kind.

3. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter and print: the classification of each product taken from its Safety Data Sheet (UN number, Proper Shipping Name, class or division, subsidiary risk, packing group, flashpoint), quantities, packaging and weights. You must review every document before signing or using it. The shipper who signs a declaration bears full legal responsibility for its contents, including any fine, rejected shipment, delay or incident arising from incorrect data.

4. Lawful use

Use Hazmat Sheets only for lawful shipments, and only through personnel qualified to handle dangerous goods where the applicable regulations require it.

5. Your data and backups

By default, everything you enter in the mobile app is stored only on your device. If you create a Hazmat Sheets account and sign in, the data you sync (catalog, customers, shipper profiles and sheets) is also stored in your account so the app and the web stay in sync. Exporting backups is still your responsibility: if you uninstall the app or lose the device without a backup or an account, your local data cannot be recovered.

6. Intellectual property

Hazmat Sheets, its name and its design are the property of CTC Dev LLC. The data you enter is yours.

7. No warranty — limitation of liability

Hazmat Sheets is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CTC Dev LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the app or of documents generated with it, including fines, losses or rejected shipments.

8. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the current version is always the one shown in the app and on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
